Why I Chose to Deliver With a Midwife In a Hospital Instead of an OB/GYN

September 20, 2017

When I discuss birth with other mothers or anyone really, inevitably I bring up that I had a midwife, a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to be exact instead of an obstetrician, or OB/GYN. This often brings up several questions, some confusion, and many misconceptions. So, […]

About Me

pregnancy postpartum blog

Hi there! I'm Alexa! I'm a pregnancy obsessed, baby lovin' mom of two. I wanted to create a space where other moms could be inspired, empowered and encouraged while working through all the crazy that mom life can throw your way, so I made a blog, but that just wasn't cutting it, so I am now a DONA certified birth + postpartum doula and lactation counselor! Please reach out to me if you are in need of doula services. I would love be there for you as you navigate all that is pregnancy, birth, postpartum, breastfeeding, and motherhood in general.
